Management system for innovation
An innovation management system enables organisations to work in a structured and goal oriented way with innovation. With clear processes for ideas, collaboration, and value creation, organisations in both the private and public sectors can strengthen their capacity for innovation. This strengthens both welfare and the competitiveness of businesses.
To work systematically with development, the standards SS EN ISO 56001 for certification and SS EN ISO 56002 for guidance are used. By implementing and certifying their innovation management system, an organisation demonstrates that it works with innovation in a long term and strategic way.
Certification is carried out by accredited certification bodies, and Swedac is responsible for ensuring that these bodies audit in accordance with applicable requirements.
