Information about the regulations

Description: The regulations include amendments to the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment’s regulations (2020:1) and general advice on accreditation. The amendments include, inter alia: the repeal of Paragraphs 19, 27–30, and 32 of the basic regulation; deletion of the headings immediately preceding Paragraphs 24 and 25; revised wording in Paragraphs 1–3, 9–11, 12–13, 16, 18, 20, and 23–25; as well as amendments to Annexes 1–2. Furthermore, four new paragraphs are introduced: 9a and 35–37. The regulations apply to bodies that are accredited or applying for accreditation, as well as to bodies that are applying for approval or are approved as GLP laboratories. The regulations enter into force on 1 January 2026.
