Information about the regulations

Description: The regulations include amendments to the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment’s regulations (2020:1) and general advice on accreditation. The amendments include, inter alia: the repeal of Paragraphs 19, 27–30, and 32 of the basic regulation; deletion of the headings immediately preceding Paragraphs 24 and 25; revised wording in Paragraphs 1–3, 9–11, 12–13, 16, 18, 20, and 23–25; as well as amendments to Annexes 1–2. Furthermore, four new paragraphs are introduced: 9a and 36–37. The regulations apply to bodies that are accredited or applying for accreditation. The regulations enter into force on 1 January 2026.
