Information about the regulations

Description: These regulations contain, firstly, provisions on fees for accreditation, inspection and assessment as referred to in Section 21 of the Act (2011:791) on Accreditation and Technical Control, and secondly, provisions on fees for assessment and inspection as referred to in Section 4 of the Ordinance (1991:93) on the implementation of the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice. The regulations apply to bodies that are accredited or applying for accreditation, as well as to bodies applying for approval or approved as a GLP laboratory. The regulations enter into force on 1 January 2026 and replace the following regulations: STAFS 2022:14 on fees for accredited bodies, etc., and STAFS 2023:5 on amendments to the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment’s regulations (STAFS 2022:14) on fees for accredited bodies, etc.
Authorization: Section 4 of the Ordinance (1991:93) on the implementation of the OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice and Section 16 of the Ordinance (2011:811) on Accreditation and Technical Control.
